These Terms are between you and Ruzel, the operator of the Ruzel app. By using Ruzel, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. You must be at least 13 years old and, if you are a minor where you live, have permission from a parent or guardian.
Ruzel helps you document reed plumes collected where collection is permitted. You can record place, date, measurements, seed-shedding stage, photos, drying notes, and audio notes; arrange a mounting sheet and field label; and browse your own seasonal specimen atlas. Layout drafts are produced by the app's built-in rules and can be edited. You are responsible for lawful access, collection, and habitat protection.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's applicable usage rules.
Ruzel uses a field-book profile and a device UUID for service session requests. The service stores specimen records, selected photos, audio notes, layouts, and profile details so you can save, review, and edit them in the app. Session, catalog, and purchase requests are sent to the service as described in the Privacy Policy. Signing out closes the current session without erasing your field book. Deleting your account requests removal of its service records and makes unused Coins unavailable; the service may retain information needed for purchase, security, or legal purposes. Export any records you want to preserve before deleting your account.
Do not use Ruzel for unlawful collection, trespass, habitat damage, infringement, security attacks, or misuse of the service. Do not attempt to disrupt its purchase or session systems. We may restrict access when necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
You retain rights in photos, notes, measurements, labels, and layouts you create. You are responsible for the content you enter and for checking specimen details before relying on them. Ruzel does not claim ownership of your specimen records.
Ruzel offers one-time consumable in-app coin purchases through Apple. The first seven mounting layout drafts are free; each subsequent draft costs eight coins. Coins have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Product prices and quantities appear in the app before purchase. Apple handles payment and refunds under its policies and applicable law. The app credits coins once per transaction and sends purchase information for verification. Deleting your account makes unused Coins unavailable; contact us about a purchase issue before doing so.
You may sign out, remove individual records, or delete your account in the app. You may ask us to review and delete information stored by the service and associated with your account by contacting Ruzel@gmail.com, subject to records we must retain for purchase, security, or legal purposes.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or perfect specimen accuracy. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. For claims involving Ruzel, applicable law and courts with jurisdiction govern. These Terms are between you and Ruzel, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for app support or content. We may update these Terms and will change the date above when updates take effect.
